So, what exactly have I been up to? Well, that's a loaded question. First, I've been busy, busy, busy taking some real estate photos for my agent friends at The Danberry Co., Realtors. Here are a few of the recent listings that I've photographed (please click on the address to find out more information about each great home for sale here in the Toledo area):
4545 Corey Road, Sylvania Township
5808 Windgate, Toledo
3329 Kirkwall, Ottawa Hills
Second, I've been spending a lot of quality time with my behind-the-scenes boring business stuff. However, I'm excited to announce a few changes to the 2012 season...these are changes that will streamline the photo process for both you and I, and make the print and/or digital print purchase process EVEN EASIER for you than it has been in the past. Here are just a few details on my brand new Investment page. There are going to be lots of exciting changes in the year ahead, and I do sincerely hope that you'll stick around to see them all! If you haven't already done so, please LIKE my Facebook page to get updates as they happen!
Third, it's been a hard three months for Jason and I personally. Without boring you with the mundane details, I'll just hit the key points. My mother-in-law was in a serious car accident two weeks before Christmas. She had her spleen removed, which is a traumatic surgery for a healthy individual, which unfortunately, my 56 year old MIL is not. We've been in and out of ICU, regular hospital rooms, and in-patient rehab facilities visiting with her ever since. She's on the mend, but it's been a stressful time just visiting and keeping both households running. In addition to her serious injuries, I've personally been hit with both the flu in late December, and now a 14-day head cold that has caused a prolonged ringing in my ears. Oh, the fun just never ceases here at this house! :) We are all doing well, but I wanted to share the reason why I've been on a blogger break for such an extended period of time. We're on the road to a positive 2012, and I'm back baby!
Finally, I can say with certainly that "I'm back" because...[drumroll please]...I made the very hard decision to leave my day-time officey-type job once and for all this year. Yippee! I'm now devoting 100% of my energy into my true passion-photography-and I can't wait to meet you and capture your memories this year!
That was a long way of answering the question, but that is exactly "Where I've Been!" Where have you been? Let me know how your 2011-2012 transition passed...I can't wait to hear from you!
